2026 Pacific Edge Adventures Skimboard Camp

It's time to hit the beach in Seabrook and learn to skimboard with the DB Skimboards crew! Whether you are a first timer or a seasoned rider these camps are great for everyone.


This is a premium small-group skimboard camp designed for ages 11–14-years old. This camp also has a max of 6 campers, so make sure to book soon!


DB Skim Camp at Seabrook delivers high-touch coaching, safe progression, and an unforgettable beach weekend—while families enjoy a full Seabrook getaway.

What to bring?

In these classes we work with everyone to ensure they will learn how to skimboard. We make sure to meet participants where they are. Skim camp is a blast for everyone involved. So come out in the sun and start skimming!


Kids should to bring towels, water, and extra clothes as they please, but we are not responsible for any lost or stolen merchandise brought to the beach.


DB Skim Camp Schedule


FRIDAY (Optional Arrival Day)


  • No formal programming

  • Families arrive and settle in

  • Optional beach walk + tide check

  • Light free skim encouraged

  • Coaches may be present casually, but no instruction


SATURDAY — FULL CAMP DAY


Check In

8:30–9:00 AM


  • Check-In + Beach Orientation

  • Camper check-in

  • Gear setup (boards provided if needed)

  • Sunscreen + hydration check

  • Beach safety & ocean awareness (Seabrook-specific)



Session 1: Fundamentals & Flow

9:00–10:30 AM

  • Board control + balance

  • Timing the water

  • Running starts & safe falling

  • Intermediates

  • Speed generation

  • Shuvs / Spins

  • Reading slope & water depth


Break

10:30–11:00 AM

  • Snack + Reset Break

  • Water + snacks

  • Quick technique talk

  • Parent photo opportunity


Session 2: Progression Through Play

11:00 AM–12:30 PM

  • Skill-based drills

  • Games that reinforce technique

  • Confidence challenges

  • Mini “wins” for each camper


BREAK

12:30–2:00 PM

  • Lunch Break (Family Time)

  • Campers eat with families

  • Rest & recharge & Optional Seabrook town time


Session 3: Style & Individual Coaching

2:00–3:30 PM

  • One-on-one feedback

  • Style development

  • Beginner goals vs intermediate goals

  • Optional filming for feedback


BREAK

3:30–4:00 PM

Hydration + Chill Break


Session 4: Team Games + Jam Session

4:00–5:30 PM

  • Group challenges
